My brother was an extremely talented commercial artist. He got involved with screen printing right out of high school when he went to work for George Bingham in Oak Park. As his experience grew, he started his own screen printing business, Royal Vinyls, which he ran out of our parents garage in Berkley. Roy taught me the art of screen printing over the next few years when I worked for him. His business adventures grew and changed throughout the years and he got very good at what he did culminating in his final business creation, The Darson Corporation, in Detroit.

Roy loved his polish food, smoking and drinking; all of which added to his clogged arteries that caused his demise. I truly miss him.~ brother Alan
